I saw this elegant photo of peanut butter, which made me smile because I take this delicious spread for granted most of the time. Its been a staple food since childhood. Paired with jelly or preserves on white bread, it was a satisfying lunch or snack. Then, I was introduced to the chunky kind and fell in love. I could eat it from the jar by the spoonful, but it made the all-American PB&J sandwich a crunchy delight.
Peanut butter has many healthy attributes - fiber, protein, magnesium, vitamins E and B6 - including being helpful in reducing the risk of diabetes. So, we should all eat peanut butter for our health. Not as fun as eating it because it tastes delicious.
